Dubai fashion: emerging designer awards
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009At the Dubai international Convention and Exhibition Center, Dubai Fashion Fiesta 2009, an accredited event and a highlight of Dubai Summer Surprises 2009 launched on a sensational mood today on June 19, 2009.
Dubai city is already reputable as a worldwide fashion capital and a target for international talent. The event will consecutively run for four enchanting days starting today and thirty-four fashion designers both popularly known and beginning representatives of the worldwide fashion industry will be showcasing their collections.
This event is tactically organized and lined up with a bold trade exhibition section, aimed at taking to another height the fashion business. This year represent its third edition and expected to be in attendance are about forty international celebrities and models waiting to mesmerize the crowds of about three thousand top rank people who also will grace the Dubai fashion fiesta 2009.
The good news about the city of Dubai will not end after the four days of the fiesta as Rania Al Mughraby, director of Events Strategy at Dubai Shopping Festival Office stated. He praised the Dubai Fashion Fiesta saying that it has notably reinforced the status of the city as a fashion focal point in the region. In addition, he disclosed that his office is planning to arrange, host and sponsor comparable events that strengthens Dubai’s unsurpassed spot in the region’s fashion industry. (more…)
