Frankly, people have now found something unique and inspiring when wearing mood rings seeing that they believe to be in control of their mood swings. Without a doubt too, is that they have given sterling silver an upper hand just like with other common jewelries. Generally, mood rings discovery happened in the seventy’s when some really sharp brains created a jewelry that can tell specific moods using liquid crystals that changed color depending on how temperatures and light wavelength varied.
Although some studies state Marving Wernick as the pioneer in the nineteen sixty’s, Joshua Reynolds came later in nineteen seventy-five and expounded Marving’s contributions. This is the man who saw the wonderful results in this jewelry discovery because people bought loads of mood rings and though the intensity went down slightly, now they have made a sincerely tough comeback. One of the rare qualities that amaze many is the structure of mood rings whether they are made of sterling silver or other metals.
Essentially how the rings work is not complex to understand although the discoverer must have made of use of his human skin science. When humans are happy to the extreme and perhaps the blood boils, the skin feels hot and get warmer when the individual is pretty calm and happy. Similarly, when the person is very anxious and distressed the skin feel cold and cool in mild moods. What happens is the liquid crystals set inside a colored background are made of thermotropic material and sterling silver metal conducts heat from the skin to a particular one. Depending on the intensity of the temperature, that crystal absorbs and reflects light, which on the wearer’s eye is, noted as a color change through the glass screen of the mood ring. Black color is an indication that the ring cannot feel the wearer’s skin because they are cold, gray is for nervousness, orange for anxiety, green is in between happy and stress, teal is fairy calm while dark blue sterling silver mood ring signifies a very cheerful mood.
